1939 radio made into iPod dock cabinet

Justin and I found a Sears and Roebuck Silvertone shortwave radio from 1939 at an antique mall in Madison. Justin wanted it to turn it into an ipod dock. We took the guts out and sawed off a wooden piece in the bottom to put the speakers in. The box helps channel the sound through the speakers slits and boy does it sound great!! FYI Serge Gainsbourg was coming through the speakers when these photos were taken.

Readymade is a new religion, a way of life, of thinking. Steampunkin’ radios and whatnots.
